Montreal tourism poster

Montreal tourism poster

This project consisted of creating two posters to promote tourism in Montréal by showcasing the city’s contrasting identities. The goal was to highlight its cosmopolitan essence through visuals that express two distinct atmospheres.

I began the process by building moodboards and sketches to explore different directions, before moving into Photoshop for the final execution. The posters were designed with contrasting color palettes and graphical motifs to emphasize two complementary sides of Montréal.

The first poster, in shades of blue and grey, conveys a modern and urban mood, inspired by the city’s nighttime energy and impressive architecture. The second, with warmer tones of green and orange, evokes a more natural and welcoming feel, reflecting Montréal’s residential neighborhoods and abundant green spaces.

Together, these two posters capture the city’s dynamic spirit by combining visual elements and graphic patterns, balancing Montréal’s vibrant urban life with its softer, more natural character.
